Amogelang Makuwa is an attorney and director at Cheadle Thompson & Haysom Inc., specialising in the fields of employment and public-sector law. He has advised a wide range of private and public sector clients, including state agencies, non-governmental organisations, national and provincial government departments and trade unions in employment disputes and public sector judicial reviews.
He has litigated, and appeared, in the superior courts, including the Labour Court, the High Court and the Labour Appeal Court.
Amogelang obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2017, and a Certificate in Advanced Administrative Law at the Mandela Institute, University of the Witwatersrand in 2020.
