Nonjabulo Doyisa

Programme Administrator and Office Support

Nonjabulo Doyisa joined CER in 2022 as Programme Administrator and Office Support.

Born into a family of activists and freedom fighters, it is only natural that Nonjabulo came to play an active role in community and civil- society organisations, fighting and advocating for human and environmental rights.

Nonjabulo envisions a healthy, hazard-free, harmonious and aesthetically pleasing South Africa in which both natural and manmade resources are conserved, historical and cultural links are maintained and ethical opportunities are found for economic, recreational and social interaction. Previously Nonjabulo co-founded the non-profit organisation Ntuzuma Conservancy, which seeks to engage and educate township and rural communities about the importance and benefits of protecting and preserving the environment.

With a passion for education, community and justice, Nonjabulo also enjoys coaching netball and offering tutoring at local primary schools in her community.
